Apple TV announced that the comedy series Bad Monkey starring Vince Vaughn will return for its second season on December 2, 2026. Creator Bill Lawrence confirmed the upcoming run will feature an original story moving beyond the first season basis in the bestselling novel. In this new season former detective Andrew Yancy witnesses a murder and is paired with a forensic accountant by an ambitious state attorney to regain his official badge. Yancy will navigate a dangerous turf war involving rival criminal groups an erudite mob boss his unhinged son and a young woman needing protection. Returning cast members include Natalie Martinez Charlotte Lawrence and John Ortiz. New guest stars joining the ensemble feature John Malkovich Yvonne Strahovski and Dax Shepard. Following its global debut with the premiere episode new episodes will stream weekly every Wednesday until the final episode concludes on February third in the year two thousand twenty seven.
