Jamal Adams was carted off during Minnesota’s 13-10 preseason victory over the New York Giants on Saturday after suffering a non-contact right knee injury. The veteran defender stumbled while covering Giants receiver Calvin Austin III during the second quarter and remained down before entering the medical tent. He was later taken from the field on a cart for further evaluation. The Vikings had not announced the injury’s severity or recovery timetable as of the latest available reports. Adams, 30, was making his Minnesota debut after signing July 28. The former Jets and Seahawks safety converted to linebacker with the Raiders in 2025 and appeared in all 17 games last season.
