Under the proposed project, a dedicated camera crew will follow the 41-year-old forward throughout his tenure with the Philadelphia 76ers. The documentary series will detail the final chapter of James’ NBA career as Philadelphia seeks its first league title since 1983. James signed a contract with the 76ers earlier in July 2026 after six seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers. During his time with Los Angeles from 2018 to 2026, James averaged 25.9 points, 7.9 assists, and 7.7 rebounds across 479 regular season games, winning an NBA championship in 2020. In Philadelphia, James joins a roster that includes center Joel Embiid, guard Tyrese Maxey, and guard Jaylen Brown, whom the 76ers acquired from the Boston Celtics earlier in the 2026 offseason in exchange for forward Paul George and draft picks.
