Draymond Green has agreed to a one-year, $27.7 million contract to remain with the Golden State Warriors, according to Klutch Sports CEO Rich Paul. Green had declined a $27.6 million player option earlier in the offseason, giving the franchise flexibility while it pursued LeBron James in free agency. After James chose to join the Philadelphia 76ers, Golden State finalized Green’s new deal, which does not include a no-trade clause. Entering his 14th season with the Warriors, Green owns the NBA’s second-longest active tenure with one team, behind Stephen Curry, and has indicated he is open to a bench role if required.
