Luke Kuechly named Netflix's lead NFL analyst

Hall of Fame linebacker Luke Kuechly, 35, has been chosen as Netflix's new lead analyst for its National Football League coverage, according to a report from The Athletic published Tuesday. Kuechly, who starred for the Carolina Panthers from 2012 to 2019, is part of the Pro Football Hall of Fame's Class of 2026 and is scheduled for induction on August 8, 2026. Netflix executives were reportedly impressed by his recent audition. He will debut alongside NBC play-by-play announcer Noah Eagle on September 10 in Melbourne, Australia, for a Thursday night game between the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers.
