Owasso, Oklahoma police are investigating a murder-suicide in which 43-year-old hairstylist and TikTok creator Sara Duffey, also known as Sara Gilson, was shot and killed by her estranged husband, Jeremiah Shawn Duffey, before he fatally shot himself. The couple were found dead in a residence after their son called 911, having witnessed the shooting. Authorities say the incident followed a volatile domestic dispute and occurred just weeks after Sara obtained an emergency protective order against Jeremiah, who faced allegations of inappropriate conduct with a minor.
