Texas: SpaceX reschedules Starship Flight 13 launch

SpaceX has reset the 13th test flight of its Starship rocket for July 25, following an aborted attempt on July 16 caused by an engine malfunction. The launch window opens at 6:45 p.m. EDT (22:45 UTC) from the company’s Starbase site in Boca Chica, Texas. This will be the second test of the larger Starship V3 variant, equipped with upgraded Raptor engines intended for future orbital missions. Engineers have modified the Super Heavy booster and updated engine abort logic after earlier shutdowns. The mission aims to deploy 20 operational Starlink V3 satellites, including six carrying cameras to study heat shield performance.
