The 50-year-old shopper searches her local supermarket’s app for deals and then studies the weekly circular for coupons she might have missed. If the price of a product she regularly buys climbs too high, she looks for it at another store or swaps it out entirely. When the apples she prefers became more expensive at her usual market, she decided to stop purchasing them there, illustrating how rising grocery costs are prompting people to rethink even their most routine food choices.
