Milwaukee authorities arrest Tony Romo on OWI charge

Milwaukee County authorities arrested CBS NFL analyst and former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo on suspicion of operating a vehicle while under the influence on Thursday night in Milwaukee. According to a Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office arrest report, Romo was stopped while driving south on Interstate 43 and deputies said he performed poorly on standardized field sobriety tests. The 46-year-old Wisconsin native was taken into custody, booked, and released the same night. He is scheduled to appear in court on September 21. Romo has served as CBS’ lead NFL game analyst since 2017. CBS declined to comment on the arrest.
