Ontario police arrest Cardinals lineman Isaiah Adams on gun charges

Ontario’s Durham Regional Police Service has arrested Arizona Cardinals offensive lineman Isaiah Adams on four weapons-related charges following an investigation into suspected drug trafficking, authorities announced in an online statement. The 25-year-old NFL player was taken into custody with three other individuals during a police operation that concluded on Friday. Adams is charged with possession of a crime-obtained firearm, possession of a restricted or prohibited firearm, possessing a loaded firearm without a valid license, and possessing a prohibited device. Two other suspects face fentanyl possession-for-distribution charges. Police have not detailed the firearm, the prohibited device, or Adams’ relationship to the others. Adams’ legal team has denied the allegations.
