Texas Starship test launch reset after pad abort

SpaceX has rescheduled the thirteenth integrated flight test of its Starship rocket system for Thursday, July 23, 2026, following a last-second pad abort during an earlier attempt. The launch is set to occur from the company’s Starbase facility in Boca Chica, South Texas, with a 90-minute window opening at 5:45 p.m. CT (2245 GMT). The July 16 attempt was halted at T-0 when the automatic launch system detected that several Raptor engines on Super Heavy Booster 20 failed to ignite properly. SpaceX subsequently destacked Starship Ship 40, inspected the propulsion system, replaced two Raptor engines, and restacked the vehicle on Pad 2.
