Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on Saturday that it had struck what it described as a US unmanned boat storage facility in Bahrain, saying numerous unmanned vessels were destroyed by fire. The IRGC further claimed it targeted Bahrain’s main artificial intelligence data center, which it alleged was used by the United States for battlefield targeting, asserting the site was completely destroyed by ballistic missiles and drones. The statements, which could not be independently verified, included a warning that any US attacks on Iranian infrastructure would prompt retaliatory strikes on regional industrial and technology assets linked to US companies.
