New York — Donald Trump Jr. is facing renewed criticism after an old video of him making a widely described "weird" remark about his 17-year-old daughter, Kai Trump, resurfaced online following her appearance at the 2026 ESPY Awards in New York on Wednesday night. The clip spread rapidly across X and other social media platforms, where users highlighted and condemned the nature of his comments about his teenage daughter. Many online critics drew direct comparisons between Trump Jr.'s remarks and past controversial statements made by former President Donald Trump about his daughter Ivanka, arguing that the latest video reflects a broader pattern within the family.
New York — The renewed attention came after Kai Trump appeared on the ESPY Awards red carpet and answered questions about staying out of politics, which prompted fresh public scrutiny of the Trump family's public image. Her attendance at the high-profile sports awards ceremony helped bring the previously recorded video back into circulation, intensifying debate over how members of the Trump family speak about their children in public. While the backlash has grown online, with users expressing outrage and disapproval, Kai Trump has not publicly responded to the resurfaced clip or addressed the ongoing reaction on social media.
