Ariana Grande altered the lyrics of her 2018 hit “Thank U, Next” during the opening night of her Eternal Sunshine concert residency at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on July 13, 2026, prompting renewed speculation about a possible reunion with ex-boyfriend Ricky Alvarez. Instead of the original line, “Now I listen and laugh,” Grande sang, “We always find our way back,” in front of a sold-out crowd. Fans reacted strongly in the arena, and clips of the moment quickly went viral on TikTok and X. This was the third lyric variation about Alvarez on her 2026 tour, each suggesting a warmer tone toward him.
