New York authorities are investigating R&B singer Trey Songz following an alleged violent altercation with a photographer outside The Ivy in Huntington, New York. The incident took place on Sunday, July 13, during a scheduled appearance by the artist. Photographer Isaa Mansoor, hired by the venue’s owner to document the event, told TMZ Hip Hop that tensions increased after an earlier dispute inside and fan requests for photos. Outside the venue, Songz allegedly punched Mansoor, threw him against a wall, and smashed two cameras. Mansoor later filed a police report and received hospital treatment for a concussion and other injuries. Songz’s representatives have not commented.
