In Las Vegas on Friday, ESPN interrupted its afternoon SportsCenter broadcast to report a physical altercation between NBA players Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro at a hotel practice court, according to senior NBA insider Shams Charania. Charania said Adebayo struck Herro in the face area after confronting him over critical social media remarks allegedly made by Herro about Adebayo’s three-year, $160 million contract extension. The two previously spent seven seasons together with the Miami Heat before Herro was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks in an offseason deal for Giannis Antetokounmpo. No injuries, discipline, or team responses were reported in the segment.
