Elon Musk abruptly canceled a highly anticipated live television interview with CNBC on Friday, July 10, 2026, as SpaceX shares fell about 3 percent amid post-IPO volatility. The interview was set for noon Eastern Time on CNBC’s “Fast Money Halftime Report” and was to be Musk’s first TV appearance since SpaceX’s June 2026 initial public offering. CNBC host Scott Wapner informed viewers of the cancellation roughly 11 minutes after the scheduled start, while reporter Julia Boorstin said producers received last-minute word that Musk had to postpone.
