Florida: Bank sues Marcellus Wiley amid criminal case

Former NFL defensive lineman and television personality Marcellus Wiley is facing a $500,000 civil lawsuit from Preferred Bank, alongside a recent misdemeanor domestic battery charge in Florida. Court records show the bank filed suit in December 2025, alleging Wiley and his company, Dat Dude Entertainment, failed to repay a loan obtained in May 2023 despite multiple extensions. On July 4, 2026, Wiley was arrested in Florida after his wife, Annemarie Wiley, reported an alleged assault and threats in a hotel room. She has since filed for divorce in Los Angeles and obtained a temporary no-contact order. Wiley denies all allegations.
