North Lauderdale, Florida — A woman shot and killed a 62-year-old man Tuesday afternoon following a verbal dispute over a parking spot outside a Walmart supercenter, according to the Broward Sheriff's Office. Authorities identified the victim as Bart Diguglielmo, a retired U.S. Army staff sergeant, who was struck by a single gunshot in the parking lot shortly before 12:30 p.m. The victim was taken to Broward Health Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead; the woman involved told investigators she fired in self-defense. Video obtained by WPLG and witness statements are under review by the sheriff's office, and officials said the suspect’s identity remains withheld while prosecutors and investigators determine whether charges will be filed this week.
