Miami investors sue Citadel, Virtu over Genius Group trading

On June 30, 2026, investor rights law firm Grant & Eisenhofer P.A. filed a class action lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Citadel Securities LLC and Virtu Americas LLC. The complaint, brought on behalf of lead plaintiff Aron Reynolds and a proposed class of Genius Group Limited investors, alleges a multi‑year market manipulation scheme targeting GNS shares. Plaintiffs claim the market makers used high‑frequency algorithmic trading, including over one million spoofing orders and naked short selling, to depress the stock price. The suit alleges violations of multiple provisions of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
