Pocatello — Zoo Idaho was evacuated Sunday after police responded to a reported possible bomb threat at the facility at 3000 S. 2nd Ave. Officers ordered an immediate evacuation and escorted all visitors and staff from the grounds out of an abundance of caution, according to a Pocatello Police Department news release. Police remained on scene this week conducting an active investigation, and the zoo was closed while officers searched the facility; the public was asked to avoid the area and updates were expected. Separately, WYFF4 reported two fatal shootings in Greenville County this week, with victims found at separate scenes and no suspects publicly identified as investigations continue.
