Former American child actress and voice artist Daveigh Chase, widely known for voicing Lilo in Disney’s "Lilo & Stitch" and playing Samara Morgan in the 2002 horror film "The Ring," has died at age 35 in Los Angeles. Her death on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, was confirmed to TMZ by her boyfriend, Roy Hernandez. According to medical information he provided, Chase had been hospitalized earlier in June with severe malnutrition, then developed meningitis and multiple serious blood infections. The resulting sepsis led to widespread inflammation and multi-organ failure. She died less than a month before her 36th birthday, July 24.
