EL PASO — On June 13, El Paso County Animal Welfare officers responded to a report at a residence on the 700 block of Agua Del Rio and found dozens of animals in severely neglected conditions. Detectives identified 39-year-old Edgar Adrian Fuller and obtained 15 non-livestock and five livestock cruelty warrants charging him with multiple counts and setting a combined bond of $37,000. This week, crews cleared displaced metal culverts after record monsoon rainfall of about 1.35 inches on Sunday night, June 14, while county commissioners on June 15 outlined fireworks sales from June 24 through midnight July 5 and reviewed KBDI fire-index data. On June 16, El Paso Water and the U.S. Army Corps, joined by Rep. Veronica Escobar and county officials, launched the Clardy Fox pump upgrades and began the design phase of a flood-forecasting and warning system to improve regional flood control.
