Los Angeles court grants Sabrina Carpenter restraining order

A Los Angeles County court has issued a temporary civil harassment restraining order protecting pop musician Sabrina Carpenter from 31-year-old William Applegate following an alleged forced entry attempt at her Hollywood Hills residence. Court records state the order requires Applegate to stay at least 100 yards away from Carpenter, her sister Sarah Carpenter, and Sarah’s domestic partner, as well as Carpenter’s workplaces and vehicles, and bars all contact or harassment. The petition cites conduct beginning around April 20, including surveillance, trespassing, and stalking. A May 23 incident, documented by Ring camera footage, allegedly involved an attempted door prying and assault on a security guard.
