Hoover, AL. Local organizers and municipal governments scheduled a series of free summer events and services this week and month, including the Ross Bridge Farmers Market on Fridays from 4–8 p.m., a Unite worship event June 6–7 at The Hoover Met, and Kentwood's family festival on Saturday, June 6, noon to 8 p.m. Albert Lea, Minn., announced Wind Down Wednesday will resume its 15th season beginning Wednesday, June 10, with new 3 p.m. start times and listed performers; Henderson County, N.C., launched Meals on the Bus Monday, June 1, running through July 29 with to-go lunches and breakfasts and rotating mobile library stops at select pickup locations.
