Washington warns Tehran of imminent large-scale assault

President Donald Trump warned on Tuesday that Iran has two to three days to reach what he described as an acceptable deal ending the conflict or face renewed large-scale U.S. military strikes. Trump said he had been about an hour away from ordering attacks before leaders of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates urged a delay, citing ongoing negotiations. Vice President JD Vance told reporters U.S. forces remain "locked and loaded" if diplomacy fails. Iranian military and diplomatic officials vowed to resist any new strikes, saying they have strengthened their capabilities during the ceasefire. Pakistan is mediating indirect communications.
