Laredo, Texas. Six people were found dead Sunday afternoon inside a Union Pacific boxcar at a rail yard near mile marker 13, near 12100 Jim Young Way, during an inspection just after 2:30 p.m., the Laredo Police Department said. First responders arrived and confirmed all six had died, and authorities said no one else was found alive inside the railcar. Laredo, Texas. Investigators have not released the identities of the victims or said how they died, and Laredo Police spokesperson Joe Baeza said the investigation is in an early phase. He said an autopsy will likely take place to determine the cause and manner of death and that investigators will pursue other facets of the inquiry.
