Washington — Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told CBS’s 60 Minutes on Sunday, May 11, that Iran’s stockpile of enriched uranium must be removed and enrichment sites dismantled before the conflict can be considered over. He said forces must 'go in and take it out' and reported President Trump privately expressed willingness to 'go in' to remove the material. Iran on Sunday submitted its formal response to the US proposal through diplomatic channels in Islamabad and warned it would retaliate against new strikes or an increased foreign naval presence, state media reported. Also on May 11, President Trump posted on Truth Social rejecting Tehran’s terms as 'TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE,' leaving negotiations active and the region at heightened risk of renewed military action.
