General Dan Caine told reporters that US Central Command and the joint force remain prepared to act if ordered. Washington on Tuesday also said Secretary of State Marco Rubio declared offensive operations complete but warned force remained an option, while President Donald Trump announced a temporary pause in US escort operations to pursue a potential agreement with Tehran. UAE officials reported intercepting missiles and drones for a second day, a claim Tehran denied.
