DENVER — Michael Harris II delivered a two-run pinch-hit homer in the top of the ninth as the Atlanta Braves rallied from a 6-0 deficit to defeat the Colorado Rockies 8-6 Friday at Coors Field. Mauricio Dubón had two hits, including a bases-loaded triple that produced runs in a four-run eighth, and Matt Olson hit a fourth-inning solo home run, his 10th of the season. Juan Mejía had walked Jonah Heim to open the ninth before Harris connected for his seventh homer of the year. Walt Weiss, making his return to Denver as Atlanta’s first-year manager, earned the victory as the Braves improved to 23-10 and extended a 7½-game lead in the NL East. Grant Holmes allowed five earned runs and seven hits over five innings, raising his ERA to 4.34, while Colorado starter Jose Quintana gave up one run on five hits in six innings but was denied the decision. Atlanta reliever Anthony Molina worked two scoreless innings in relief, Didier Fuentes (1-0) earned the win, and Robert Suárez recorded his fourth save while filling in for regular closer Raisel Iglesias, who is expected to return from the 15-day injured list next week. The Braves scratched out a run in the seventh and tied the game in the eighth on Dubón’s triple and a sacrifice fly. Saturday’s scheduled starters are Atlanta left-hander Chris Sale (5-1, 2.31 ERA) and Colorado right-hander Chase Dollander (3-2, 2.25).
