BEREA, Ky. — Kentucky State Police say a man robbed the U.S. Bank on Chestnut Street at about 2 p.m. Thursday and fatally shot two employees, identified later as Breanna Edwards, 35, and Brian Switzer, 42. Troopers released a suspect photo and description and warned the public that the individual was armed and dangerous. LEXINGTON, Ky. — Multiple agencies, including KSP, Berea Police and the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, searched areas near the Bourbon County line and around Bryan Station and Johnston roads; officers attempted a traffic stop, pursued the suspect whose vehicle crashed in Fayette County, and a Madison County Sheriff later announced a suspect was taken into custody while the investigation continues.
