"Sufficient forces" ready for Iran blockade, rules of engagement pending: US official

The United States announced a naval blockade at the Strait of Hormuz after talks with Iran collapsed, with President Donald Trump ordering the Navy to block any ship entering or leaving and to board vessels in international waters that make transit payments to Tehran. A US official told Al Jazeera the military has sufficient assets but no rules of engagement yet. Trump warned Iranian forces against targeting American or civilian ships.
