Princeton blanked Newman 14-0 in six behind homers by Izzy Gibson and Avah Oertel and Reese Reviglio’s eight-hit, eight-strikeout shutout. Morris edged La Salle-Peru 3-2 in eight. Also: Henry-Senachwine 8-2 over Dwight, Somonauk 6-3 over Earlville, and Lexington 17-2 over Fieldcrest. In baseball, Annawan-Wethersfield 8-6 Henry-Senachwine, Newman 12-2 Princeton, Somonauk 11-1 Earlville-Leland, and Lexington 9-8 Fieldcrest.
