Trump Halts Strikes on Iranian Energy for 10 Days

US President Donald Trump announced a 10-day suspension of attacks on Iran’s energy stations, saying on Truth Social that the pause came at Iran’s request and will last until Monday, April 6 at 8 p.m. ET (April 7, 4 a.m. Saudi time). He said negotiations are ongoing and progressing well, despite what he called misleading media reports. Earlier, on Monday, Trump had ordered a five-day halt on targeting Iran’s energy infrastructure amid ongoing talks with Tehran.
