'Blue Collar' Oklahoma Goes to Work During Extended Break Ahead of NCAA Tournament Opener

NORMAN, Okla. — On Friday night No. 4-seeded Oklahoma defeated No. 13-seeded Idaho 89-59 at Lloyd Noble Center, with Raegan Beers scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and Sahara Williams adding 17 points and 10 rebounds, advancing the Sooners into the NCAA Tournament second round. The Sooners, now 25-7, will face No. 5 Michigan State on Sunday; Idaho’s 18-game win streak ended as the Vandals shot 25 percent overall and produced a three-point third quarter on 1-of-18 shooting, while Oklahoma’s balanced offense and defense produced the decisive margin.
