Partly cloudy skies Friday night gave way to clearing and a chill across Chicago, with O’Hare at 25 degrees and north winds making it feel near 14. Gusts up to 25 mph will push some wind chills into the single digits as light lake-effect snow, mainly east of the city into northwest Indiana and southwest Michigan, fades over the next 12 to 14 hours. Lows fall to the single digits in suburbs and near 10 downtown. Saturday stays cold, near 23, mostly sunny early with late clouds and a slight snow shower chance, before a warmup into next week.
