LAFAYETTE, Ind. Police responded Sunday, Jan. 18, to the 1700 block of Mill Pond Lane after reports of a shooting that injured Tippecanoe Superior Court Judge Steven Meyer and his wife, Kimberly. Officers found both victims and transported them to an area hospital; both were reported in stable condition. Authorities recovered shell casings at the scene and said local, state and federal agencies are assisting the active investigation. Chief Justice Loretta Rush notified judges statewide and courts arranged coverage to keep dockets moving while investigators search for a suspect. Mayor Roswarski commented.
