AeroVironment Inc. reported a fiscal second-quarter loss of $17.1 million, or 34 cents per share, after a profit a year earlier. Adjusted earnings were 44 cents per share, missing the 85-cent consensus from Zacks-surveyed analysts. Revenue totaled $472.5 million, below the expected $477.4 million. The unmanned aircraft maker expects full-year earnings of $3.40 to $3.55 per share and revenue of $1.95 billion to $2 billion. Shares reached $281.66 in the final minutes Tuesday, up 83% since the start of the year and 76% over the past 12 months.
