The Golden Hurricane (5-1) took the lead with 16:20 left in the first half, led 43-33 at the break, and blew it open with an 18-0 second half run to go up 70-43. Ade Popoola added 14 points and five boards, while Miles Barnstable also scored 14 and had a team-high seven after halftime. Colby Garland led the Spartans (2-4) with 13.
