Fort Collins, Colo. Colorado State University announced Wednesday that it has hired UConn head coach Jim Mora to lead the Rams football program as it prepares to join the Pac-12. Mora, 64, compiled a 27–23 record at UConn, producing back-to-back nine-win seasons and three bowl appearances in four years. He previously coached at UCLA and in the NFL with the Atlanta Falcons and Seattle Seahawks. He will relocate to Colorado. Mora succeeds Jay Norvell, who was fired in October after an 18–26 record.
