Dayton Raiola decommits from Nebraska before early signing

Dayton Raiola, a three-star 2026 pocket passer and younger brother of Nebraska starter Dylan Raiola, decommitted from the Cornhuskers, reopening his recruitment weeks before the Dec. 3-5 early signing period. The two-year Buford High School starter, ESPN’s No. 76 pocket passer, had pledged in September over Appalachian State and Charlotte. His exit is Nebraska’s fourth decommitment and leaves one of the FBS’s smallest 2026 classes at nine pledges, led by SC NEXT 300 commits Claude Mpouma and Danny Odem. Dylan Raiola is out with a broken fibula; freshman TJ Lateef led a Nov. 8 win at UCLA.
