Trump to meet New York City mayor elect

President Donald Trump said Sunday he plans to meet New York City mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani, promising they will 'work something out' after months of attacks that included false 'communist' labels and threats to cut funds and deport the Ugandan-born citizen. Mamdani, 34, who beat former Gov. Andrew Cuomo by nearly nine points, has vowed to 'Trump-proof' the city yet says he’ll work with the White House. No meeting date is set, the press secretary said. Trump also said the U.S. may soon talk with Venezuela’s Nicolás Maduro, adding, 'I’ll talk to anybody.'
