Ford Motor is teaming up with Amazon to let dealers list certified used Fords on Amazon Autos, letting shoppers browse local inventory, arrange financing, and finish most paperwork online before picking up the vehicle in person. The program launches in Los Angeles, Seattle and Dallas, with more markets to come. Vehicles include a manufacturer-backed warranty and benefits equivalent to dealership sales. Ford says about 180 dealers have expressed interest, with 20 enrolled so far. Amazon facilitates the transactions, which are completed by participating dealerships; the e-commerce site also hosts similar offerings from Hyundai.
