Trump pardons Dan Wilson in Jan 6 case

President Donald Trump issued a full and unconditional pardon to Dan Wilson, a Kentucky man who pleaded guilty to felony conspiracy in the Jan. 6 Capitol attack and to unrelated federal firearms charges, multiple reports say. Signed Nov. 14, the pardon had not been announced on the Justice Department website as of Nov. 15. Wilson was sentenced in 2024 to five years in prison. The Justice Department said he planned the attack and wrote on Dec. 27, 2020, "I am ready to lay my life on the line." Politico reports he belonged to the Gray Ghost Partisan Rangers.
