Drake Maye heard MVP chants at Gillette Stadium during the Patriots’ 27-14 win over the Jets, but he pointed the spotlight at rookie TreVeyon Henderson. Maye joked the cheers were for Henderson, who scored all three of the team’s touchdowns and now has five in two games while Rhamondre Stevenson is sidelined by a toe injury. Praising Henderson’s work and growth, Maye said the back has stepped up huge and could form a good one two with Stevenson, which will not hurt Maye’s award chances.
