Gemini for TV is rolling out to Google TV Streamer devices starting today, widening access beyond the limited smart TVs that supported it since September. The assistant replaces Google Assistant with a more conversational approach, suggesting movies, summarizing past seasons, and handling smart home requests like showing a camera feed. The rollout will continue over the next few weeks. Anyone with a TV that supports an HDMI-connected Google TV Streamer, HDCP 1.3 or later, and a reliable internet connection can check for the update in settings under Voice Assistant.
