The Bills stood pat this week, but not for lack of trying. NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero reports they pursued deals for Dolphins wideout Jaylen Waddle and Jets defensive tackle Quinnen Williams, but couldn’t reach agreements with their AFC East rivals. Waddle drew heavy interest heading into the deadline, and Mike Garafolo reports Miami sought a package built around a first-round pick, with an even higher price within the division. Williams was ultimately traded to the Cowboys for a first-round pick, a second-round pick and Mazi Smith.
