Baylor is investigating athletic director Mack Rhoades after reports he grabbed tight end Michael Trigg by the shirt and cursed at him on the sideline over a gold undershirt during the Sept. 20 game against Arizona State. Head coach Dave Aranda and tight ends coach Jarrett Anderson later confronted Rhoades in a heated exchange, and the moment reportedly lingered for Trigg, who wore the long sleeves to cover a shoulder brace. Baylor lost 27-24 on a last-second field goal, though Trigg had five catches for 71 yards and two touchdowns. Rhoades appeared Tuesday as College Football Playoff committee chair.
