Florida finally unveiled 7-foot-9 redshirt freshman Olivier Rioux in its 104-64 rout of Northern Florida, as 'We Want Ollie' chants pushed coach Todd Golden to sub him in with 2:09 left. The Canadian center, officially the tallest player in college basketball history, drew a wild reaction, logged two minutes, and no stats. Rioux, who redshirted during last season’s title run after entering Guinness in 2022 as the tallest living male teenager, called the support 'amazing.' Golden praised his patience and said he wished Rioux had gotten a touch.
