Heritage Foundation president Kevin Roberts apologized to staff for defending Tucker Carlson’s decision to host white nationalist Nick Fuentes, calling it a mistake. In leaked town hall footage, he said he knew little about Fuentes and that a now resigned chief of staff scripted his post. Roberts condemned Fuentes’s antisemitic views but refused to resign, saying he will stay. The Washington Post reported at least five antisemitism taskforce members quit, as internal critics denounced Carlson’s show and leaks and infighting unsettled the institution.
